Kyle Cabodi is a Senior Director at The Bulleit Group. His experience includes 10+ years in the media and communications space, serving as senior counsel to tech clients across a variety of industry verticals including future mobility and healthcare/insurance tech. Prior experience includes communications and marketing work in the consumer space, supporting high-profile automotive clients including Cadillac, Audi of America and Toyota/Lexus. He holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California and a M.S. in Strategic Communication from Purdue University.
Before working in communications, Kyle was a general assignment reporter at KHBS/KHOG-TV (ABC) in Fayetteville, Arkansas and KUSA-TV (NBC) in Denver, Colorado.
Kyle reported on a broad range of topics while working in the broadcast industry. At KUSA-TV in Denver, he reported on pressing issues such as state immigration reform, damaging wildfires, Tim Tebow and the Broncos and of course, winter weather. While working in Arkansas, Kyle reported on everything from crime to politics to Razorback football. He also won Arkansas Associated Press awards for his coverage of the 2009 Northwest Arkansas Ice Storm, the worst to hit the region in more than 100 years, and the 2010 election, in which he investigated campaign advertising claims made by former U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln. He reported live from the scene of two deadly EF3 tornadoes, one touching down in Mena, AR in 2009, and another practically destroying the town of Cincinnati, AR on New Years’ Eve 2010.
Kyle is originally from sunny San Juan Capistrano, California. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Spanish. While in school, he reported, anchored, and produced for three years with Annenberg TV News, USC’s award-winning, live nightly newscast. He was one of the first people on the scene when the Writers Guild of America began to strike in 2007 and was on the streets of Los Angeles when thousands poured out for the May Day Immigration March in 2008. His work for ATVN was nominated for a Hearst College Journalism award. While at USC, he interviewed people such as Michael Phelps, George Lucas and Jay Leno. Kyle also interned for CNBC and KCBS/KCAL-TV in Los Angeles and KNSD-TV in San Diego.
