Her films have been praised for their powerful storytelling and their thoughtful, sensitive approach to difficult subjects and controversial people. Marina’s recent films include LANCE (ESPN Films/Hulu), a psychological portrait of cyclist Lance Armstrong; Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind (HBO), Water and Power: A California Heist (National Geographic), and Fantastic Lies (ESPN) — about the Duke Lacrosse scandal. Previous films include Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic (Showtime) and Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired (HBO/BBC), among others. Recent credits include HBO Max’s The Way Down: God, Greed and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin; DB Cooper: Where Are You?! for Netflix and Roku’s What Happens in Hollywood, which focuses on gender, sex and power in Hollywood.
