Kristen Lago

Kristen Lago is currently a reporter and multimedia journalist for Spectrum News 1. She was part of the cable station’s initial launch in November, 2018 and continues to play a key role in its development. On a daily basis, Kristen is responsible for pitching, shooting, reporting, and producing pieces for the morning and evening newscasts. Her stories range from sports features to breaking news packages and everything in between.

Before Spectrum News, Kristen previously worked as a reporter and writer for the Los Angeles Rams and a freelance sports journalist. Her various stories have appeared on CNBC, the NBC Olympics Digital Unit, and The Rams digital site. At USC, she was a sports reporter and anchor for Annenberg Media, a student ambassador for Annenberg, and a recruiting intern with USC Football. When she is not covering sports on field, she can be found watching her favorite team, the USC Trojans on TV or on the couch with a good book and a can of Diet Coke.
