Charlie Dunkin

Sports unite us. It is our national pastime, a Sunday final round, a 60-point night, or a gridiron battle – it is Friday night lights. How these games or tournaments are broadcast is where I want to be; it is where I need to be. The current model is old and tired; we need something new and fresh…that’s where I come in. It is not just about talking points, it is about: the fan and their opinions, social media, digital, on-the-field, off-the-field…that’s my passion – my sweet spot!

My objective is to start a different conversation; to create and own a unique brand that includes the passion of the FAN!

I am a recent USC Annenberg graduate 2020 with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a double minor in Marketing and Sports Media Industries.

My broadcast experience includes creating, writing and editing my own podcast, “The Sports Dimension.” Interviews include well-known sports figures such as: HOF Offensive Lineman Bruce Matthews, USC Visually-Impaired, Long Snapper Jake Olsen, Jets QB Sam Darnold, ex-49ers Linebacker, Rikki Ellison.

My digital and social media experience include bringing awareness and followers to sites such as: HEART WORK MEDIA and The BULLPEN on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Followers increased of 80%.

In the end, sports are about those who follow, attend and listen to every pitch, pass, 3-point shot, clutch goal and birdie. I want to bring a new perspective and innovation to the sports world!
